Hello,
I wish I could help.
I have no Benjamin Caswell born on the date you state in my data. I also
checked the Thomas' that I have and none that I have would have had children
in that year unless they were in their 60's.
Do you have the Caswell CD? if not let me know and I will search on it for
your Benjamin Franklin Caswell.
Kathy

Hi Kathy,
The only connection I found was the parents of Mercy Lincoln who married
your William Caswell. I have Caswells but do not have William connected to
any parents in my file. According to what I have, taken from the History of
Hingham, MA, Mercy is the daughter of Thomas Lincoln and Mary (Austin??).
This family started in Hingham with the other Lincolns then went to Bristol
County. The father of Thomas is also named Thomas Lincoln - one of several
who settled in Hingham. I descend from Daniel Lincoln.
Good luck, Donna Potter in RI
Bristol County is where our Benjamin Franklin Caswell is from. We have not
ever been able to find out any information about his father or sisters. We
have it that his father was Thomas and that he had some sisters but do not
know their names. Benjamin was born May 22 or 28, 1828. There have been a
few that have said that they have information about him and will send it to
us but we have not ever gotten past that. We have asked several times for
them to please send us that information to no avail. So if anyone has
anything that might help to place Ben in a family please let us know.
Thanks.

Hi Everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone has information on my Caswell line.
Benjamin Caswell was born about 1796 in Stanstead County, Quebec.
His parents were Ezra Caswell born 23 Sep 1766 in Orford, NH. Have no
info on his death. Mother was Lydia Whitcomb born 01 Jan 1772 in
Putney, VT. Died 20 Dec 1843 in Derby, VT.
So my Benjamin's lineage is:
Ezra Caswell and Lydia Whitcomb
Nathan Caswell and Hannah Bingham
Nathan Caswell and Hannah Shaw
Daniel Caswell and Mary ?
Thomas Caswell and Mary Ramsdell
Thomas Caswell and Mary ?
The above information came indirectly from George Sanborn about 10
years ago. I don't have documentation for it. Would like to connect
with George if he is available.
I'm interested in connecting with any cousins. Would like to know what
happened to Ezra Caswell. Anyone else out there descended from Ezra
and Lydia Whitcomb?
Thanks for any help.
Susan
