This hoax is about 3 yrs old. I figured it wouldn't resurface till after
Christmas
when some newbies got AOL for a present, but it seems some got theirs for
Hanukkah, or some
such. <sigh>

Norman, and everyone else, I fell for this one too. Don't delete that file
it's one that is not used very often, but everyone has it, it's part of your
original computer set up. If you jumped the gun like I did, anyone can
email you acopy of it :)

Subject: I gave you a virus!
Many apologies for this, but I have picked up a virus
that is transmitted automatically via address books.
Because I have your address means that you're likely to
have the virus. The virus is NOT detected by McAfee
or Norton, and lies dormant for 14 days before it then
closes down your entire system Thisis a simple yet
effective method of finding and deleting the virus before
it can do you any harm.
Please act PROMPTLY.
The directions for removing it are easy.
1. Go to 'start' then to 'find or search' (depending
on your computer)
2. In the 'search for files or folders' type in
sulfnbk.exe this is the virus
3. In the 'look in' make sure you're searching
Drive C
4. Hit 'search' button (or find)
5. If this file shows up (its an ugly blackish icon
that will have the name 'sulfnbk.exe')DO NOT OPEN IT
6. Right click on the file - go down to delete and
left click
7. It will ask you if you want to send it to the
recycle bin, say yes
8. Go to your desktop (where all your icons are) and
double click on the recycle bin
9. Right click on sulfnbk.exe and delete again - or
empty the bin
If you find it send this e-mail to all in your address
book, because that's how it's transferred.
Once again, many apologies
am looking for a Mary BASKIVILLE (or BASKIVILLE) who married a James PERSSE
and lived at Killamery, Co. Kilkenny with a daughter Sarah PERSSE born Oct
1843. Sarah died in Auckland 1912 and the spelling "BASKIVILLE" comes from
her death certificate and therefore may not be correct
I have noted a Mary Baskerville b.1812 at Youghal, Co.Tipperary, parents
William Baskerville b. 1 Mar 1784 and Margaret CASWELL, married 1810. I do
not know how many Mary Baskervilles there might have been about that time
but the date of birth and location (vis a vis Killamery) seems to fit.
Any advice or links that list members can assist with - esp to PERSSE?
many thanks
Bruce Gamble
This looks like a very good lead to the Caswell Baskerville line of Ireland.
If you can find any wills from these people, they may help our research.
Do you have a gedcom file of your research, please?
Tomorrow Morning around 8:30 a.m. Central Standard
time...Wednesday...December 12th...Silas "Cas" Caswell will have the
angiogram done in St. Paul, Minnesota. Please keep him and our family in
your prayers. Please also pray for the doctors and nurses.
Thanks...Donnora Caswell

Hi
Has anyone come across a Caswell who married Sarah, she was born abt 1812 in
Stockland Bristol, Somerset.
They had a son, Clement, who was born abt 1852 in Fiddington, Bridgwater,
Somerset.
In the 1881 census Sarah & Clement were living in Camberwell London. She was
shown as married, not a widow, but there was no sign of her husband.
Any help gratefully accepted

Thanks, Nancy. Silas will have the angiogram done on Wednesday this week in
St. Paul. We're concerned about being able to pay our rent etc. Each day
that he is out of work it is without pay until January when his vacation and
sick days start over again. We had used our vacation days when we had to
move this summer or we would have had days to pull from. Anyway, thanks for
the prayers.
