Hi All,
I'm looking for information on Elizabeth Caswell, aka Betsey Caswell.
She was the first wife of Jonathan Buzzell (b1795 - d1861)of Barrington,
Strafford, NH. I believe she is the daughter of Elijah Caswell (b1748-
d1815) and Sarah Evans (b. 1753 - d. 1848).
Jonathan Buzzell and Betsey Caswell had three children : Charles Norris
Buzzell (181-1835); Harry Butler Buzzell ( 1820-1891); and Andrew Evans
Buzzell (1822-1899)
My information comes from my great-grandmother, Ella Mae Buzzell. She
was a granddaughter of Jonathan Buzzell and his second wife Polly Hill.
Do these names sound familiar to anyone? I would appreciate any
information.

The Rev CASSWELL mentioned in your email is a descendant of Richard
CASSWELL (he with the tomb @ St James CH Trowbridge -one of my WIltshire
Kazzy tribe.
His grand kids Ed & Albert sold their property in Trow. & left for the New
World, landing in Upper Canada. Albert was a major in the Canadian Army and
the Rev Albert James CASSWELL married DuVernet, Mira Amelia (1869 - 1938)
Ed was The Big Cheese dealer who did all that stuff for the Canadian
Farmers and exporting. He was the guy who went to Saratoga Springs, (I
mentioned that last week!)
I have photos too!
You can see him on my CASWELL tree displayed at
www.redsuspenders.com/~caswell/caswell
Note that there are many LIVING descendants in Canada & USA.
I know nothing about Robert Caswell RUDOLF

The problem is that she has been giving me an address that doesn't work.
So every time she writes telling me that she has some really important
Caswell - Hoskins/Haskins information I cannot contact her privately.
I didn't want to bother the whole list with this.

Hi Mike,
I was wondering if you could possibly have information on James Caswell
born in 1782 in either Swansea, Massachusetts or Swansea, Wales. I think I
might have spoken to you before if so please help me. It is the only part
of my family research that has not gone forward. Other than the missing
Caswell link my research has gone along quite well.

Hello to Everyone,
I have been researching my Great Great Grandfather Jotham Caswell
probably born in MA in the late 1700's. He died in Fremont, IN in 1844.
He was married to Mary Worden and they had 13 children.
I have recently had correspondence with another researcher of this line
with new information that has yet to be proven but is a good lead. The
following is what was in the letter:
"Am fairly sure now can trace Jotham (the one that died 1844) - was son
of Joshua, son of Jotham & Mary Reynolds of Middleborough, MA.
(Mayflower descendant, Jan 1989, Pg 80, 81) I have to confirm Joshua
Jr., but understand it is in a Bible in a Library in, I believe
Boonville, IN. It lists Jotham as one of Joshua's sons."
Does anyone have any knowledge of this bible? Or any information on The
people listed above? I have been at this roadblock for some time now
and would really appreciate any help.
Thank You,
Kathy Caswell Rinke
