No, I'm sorry I'm not, at least not as far as I know!! I know the Castro
name originated in Spain and of course the Spainards did plenty of
conquering including old world Mexico which is where my ancestors come from
(presently Texas and Mexico)
My Grandfather Castro came from the Fort Worth, Texas area as did
generations before him as I'm told and my grandmother came from Mexico. I
would suspect the Castro and Locastro names are derived from one another
somehow but at this time I don't know the history. Maybe thats something I
should try to look into. If you have any more info let me know. My e-mail
