THE JOSEPH CUSTER PUZZLE!. C1800 TO BEFORE 8 APRIL 1837, TRUMBULL CO., OH.
I am asking for your input. Not what someone else has written. I am
going
beyond the known written records. I want the pieces that simply don't or
won't fit your puzzle. Maybe they will fit mine
I am after the hidden bits and pieces that appear NOT to fit the line,
but claimed to be a part of the family lore. In short, I want what people
have been reluctant to put forth, in the hope that maybe some hidden things
might appear, that do NOT place the family in what has been purported to be
the line in the past., namely John Custer & John Dudley Custer.
Are they the same? Are they different?.If they are different, where do
they vere off. My line is there somewhere. It's simply got to be. BUT
Chester Custer did not find a fit for them.
Yet Joseph & Elizabeth were both b. PA c 1800. Why doesn't anyone claim
them? I have given up 20 years of painstaking research to try to find the
missing link. It has taken years of my time, over microfilm, typewriters,
books, maps, histories, court houses, dustry archives, etc. I've tried to
leave no stone unturned.
My cousin has been spending time she could be with her family, on the ski
slopes, to bein the Utah Archives to unearth any lead we can come up with.
We know Joseph and Elizabeth (Williams) Custer were b. in PA c1800. We know
we come with the General Custer line, but cannot find lthe link to our line.
Do you have even a tiny peice to our puzzle? We would be ever so grateful.
Norma Custer Rice, MI
