Hi Gloria, A database such as the archive database will
never be finshed because the data keeps coming in.
Right now I am concentrating on members only and when they
are all set up I will start on the rest of the file.
Currently there are over 2200 names in the database and
linking them together will take a couple of years.
I personally would not wait to join because of the database.
I am making progress on getting the lineages out. I have
been mailing about 2 to three every other day. Some take
longer than others to research. At this rate I hope to be
completed in about 6 weeks.
Then I can work on my MadduxCousins newsletter which was due
in June.

Hi, Jan and all, I'm eager to hear the database has been finished then I'll
consider joining. For now I'm enjoy this rootsweb list. I'm from one of
those Custer lines which can't be proved. George Custer (1705-1756) married
to Mary Rhoades m. June 8, 1730. George also met up and was murdered by
hostile Indians. The link we need is did George have a son named William
(1732-1777) who had a son William (1765-1828) as he is not listed in George's
will. Until we have proof, we just assume we descend from George.
So I'll keep watching the email here hoping some day I will find another
researcher for my small Custer branch. - Gloria
