Quilt Project for Reunion 2000
From the desk of Marilyn Posten Conference Coordinator:
I propose putting together a quilt to tell the family
histories of the CAOA
members. It can then be a traveling Ambassador for the
Castor
Association. Each host site will retain custody of the
quilt for 2 years and
then pass it on to the next conference site. While the
host site has the
quilt it can be displayed at the local libraries,
genealogical societies and
other events where people can see it.
How can you help? The quilt needs 66 14" squares of
unbleached muslin.
Each square needs to have something that depicts family
history. This
could be a family tree, a picture of someone, a picture
of a significant
building or ...you can use your imagination. These
would be embroderied
onto the square.
The center of the quilt will be a 41" by 28" rectangle
of unbleached muslin
which will have a tree with the wording Paulus and
Gertrude Kuster
Descendants.
NOTE: So I can put your design on the web please send
with your choice
of square to:

I did this, and I still don't see anything about the quilt. Am I missing
something?
