Hi Joan. I'm interested in your letter about the Federal Census. (I'm new at
this sort of thing!) Do you mean YOUR local library or do others have the
census too? Are there other ways to get the Fed. Census on line? Thanks.

Do you need someone to check the IN census for Elizabeth
Custer? The local library has Federal Census records for IN from
1820-1920. Indexes are available for 1820-1860. For Hamilton Co.,
IN only, they have an 1870 index.
I'm busy at present with the State Fair, but I would be happy in a couple
of
weeks to check a census for her if you can give me the
county, and area or township where you think she lived.
