WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS - Laura J. Casto, 100, of White Sulphur Springs, died
Feb. 1, 2001, at home.
She was a retired employee of The Greenbrier, White Sulphur Springs, and a
former member of Kate Carpenter Rebekah Lodge and the VFW Women's Auxiliary.
She was a homemaker and member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, White Sulphur
Springs.
Surviving: daughters, Louise Worline of Valparaiso, Ind., June Harbaugh and
Frances Spinks, both of White Sulphur Springs; sister, Ella Sue Moore of
Alexandria, Va.; brother, Ralph D. Corron of Covington, Va.; nine
grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; 11
great-great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Service will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Shanklin Funeral Home, White Sulphur
Springs, with the Rev. Elizabeth A. Walker and the Rev. Gary Waple
officiating. Burial will be in Whatcoat Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
