You might check my site at the above URL. I do recall within my research a
couple of CASTLEBERRY families migrating to Texas from Arkansas. As they
weren't in my lineage I didn't follow up.
Jo (Castleberry) Branch
Hello Trudy;
Though I am not a descendant of the CASTLEBERRY line, I have questions to
this paticular line as my grandfather was enumerated in the household of John
D. CASTLEBERRY 1900 census Clay Twsp, White Co., AR.
My grandfather's - [Barney Sherwood WISE b/ Jul 1880 GA] - parents had just
died in the epidemic, along with his younger brother Joseph.
I lose Barney for the next 20 years where he appears in the 1920 census in
Wise Co, Tx. There are CASTLEBERRYs there in Wise Co, Tx also, but I don't
make the connection to the AR CASTLEBERRYs.
Do you have any insights to my grandfathers migration from AR to Wise Co, Tx;
and his association with the CASTLEBERRYs?
I do have family connections to the CASTLEBERRY line through my grandfathers'
mother's father's sister's husband's brother Louis Sebastian
YINGLING/YEUNGLING m/ Sarah E. CASTLEBERRY - your Anna B/s sister.
Small world.
I look forward to talking with you.
Best regards, Larry - southern California (formerly, Texas)
