Went down with the flu, then there was Hog Dog Trials last week, so I
was working lots of extra hours. I'll get the documents scanned next
week and make them available online.

The papers you sent were from the estate of Mary Castleberry, but I
don't have any of the ones listed above. I will transcribe what you
sent (after 3/15; got a big project due Friday) and will post to the
message board.
One of the papers you sent shows Stephen Hickman as guardian of Mary
E. and S. F. Ozment, who must be children of Elizabeth Castleberry
Ozment. I still have not determined who Elizabeth married. Another
researcher found a record for "Eli Ozment" in one of the Castleberry
probate papers, but I am now wondering if this was just someone's
abbreviation for Elizabeth.
When I was in Bradley County over Christmas I saw documents (1) and
(2) in Robert's probate papers, but didn't have time to photocopy
them. If I remember correctly, Robert was outfitted really finely
for his funeral. Silk underwear, gloves, the whole works. But I
don't know that I have ever seen a headstone for Robert. It struck
me as so strange that there would be money to dress him in his
finest, but not to mark his resting place in a permanent way.
In the list of personal property for sale, I was pleasantly surprised
to see another ancestor of mine, John W. Loveless from Drew County,
Arkansas, buying something at Robert's estate sale. This helped me
get a better idea of when John arrived in Arkansas.
One of these days I will make it back to Bradley County and will make
sure to get photocopies of these things.

Yes, there are some papers in what you sent me listing Jacob's widow,
Nancy Castleberry, living in Trinity County, Texas. Nancy is asking
for her share of Mary Castleberry's estate. Unfortunately, the
papers don't list Jacob and Nancy's children by name.
