Am interested in your Wm M. Castleberry who served in the Revolutionary War
from Ga. and migrated to Kentucky.
I have a William Castleberry, b. ca.1798 per census, married to Lovecey
(spelled several ways) Bailey who was in the 1830 Houston County, Ga. census
and sold land in Randolph County, Ga. to Briant Bailey in 1838. He was in
Calhoun County, Fla. for the 1850 and 1860 censuses and supposedly moved
back to Ga. to the Decatur County area, but I have not found him there. Do
not know where he was between 1838 and 1850.
William had sons Elias and Milton b. 1830 and 1832.
Obviously, my William did not serve in the Revolutionary War, but wonder if
there is a connection.
Where in Ga. was your William from and do you connect to my William?
