B.F. Castleberry was from Georgia he married Margaret A. Reese in June 1853. They moved to
Alabama had 3 children there one being my GGrandma, Mary Jane B. 1858-59, brother,John B.
1861, another brother Davis B.1863. The family moved to Clay County, Mississippi. B.F.
Castleberry owned 80.77 acers there. Mary Jane Castleberry married William H. Baker in
July 1883. they had four daughters, the first two, born in Clay County, Ida May Baker,
Susie Baker, and then my Grandma and her twin sister were born in Columbas, Mississippi.
My grandma's name was Florelle Baker and her twin was Florence Baker. Their race was
stated as white.the four dauters were placed into the Natchez Orphan Asylum as the stories
go, their father died, then soon after their mother died. Their grandma took them in until
she could no longer care for them as we belive she was aslo dieing and then placed them
into the Orpanage. I need to find information on the where about of my G.Grandparents and
G.G.Grandpar!
ents Graves. Also the stories are they died from the Yellow Fever Epidemic that went
through the Mississippi area around 1885-1900? Any and all infomation I would be very
thankful for at this time. Any one with information on this line of Castleberry's Or
