I received this virus, but because I rarely open anything from
strangers, especially with an email address like this one <g> I had
deleted it. Praise the Lord!!! Anyway, this message came across my New
Brunswick (Canada) mailing list.

If anyone else gets a message from "Hahaha"
(hahaha(a)sexyfun.net) with the
subject "Snowhite and the Seven Dwarfs - The REAL story!" do NOT detach the
screensaver "Midget.scr" -- it is the ' W32/Hybris.gen ' worm,
something
like the infamous "Melissa" -- see details below.
It mails itself to everyone in your address book I advise you to contact
everyone in your addy book to warn them, AFTER you've disinfected your
system per the instructions below (or talk to your ISP) -- sorry, I am not
expert enough to give detailed instructions on disinfection. You (and
everyone) need(s) an up-to-date antivirus package.
Also, insidiously, it downloads updates to itself from a newsgroup. There
is no question that those updates potentially could cause the worm to wreak
havoc by screwing up your hard drive.
Once again to all: NEVER detach an attachment from someone you don't know.
I almost did but my antivirus package prevented it.
Yrs aye,
Warren Wetmore
