Maybe I should add Emma Cramer had been married to someone named McBride and
lived in Chicago in 1889 and 1894 when her parents passed away. I don't
know what happened to Mr. McBride.

Looking for information on Emma Castile, probably Otero County
Colorado,
1908.
I am told she was called the Cattle Queen of Colorado, and that her
brother
Emmett Cramer, and her husband did the last open range roundup in
Colorado,
Castile was to take the herd to Dodge City, but was never seen or
heard of
again. My mother went with her aunt, in a wagon, to Dodge City, trying to
find out what happened to him. Had Rustlers attacked him, robbed him,
killed him? Or had he absconded with the herd and the money? No one
never
knew.
That my mother rode to Dodge City with Emma, means Emma was there for some
time after 1908. Mom was born in 1909, the Cramer family moved away from
there about 1918. I would suspect it would be closer to 1918 when they
went
to Dodge City.
Does this connect with any folks on this list? Did you have any Castiles
in
Colorado during this time period?
Thanks, Karon in Okanogan
