Jo,
I'm sorry but I can't be more specific at this time. We have moved
recently and all my NewsCasters are packed away so I can't reference
them to give you the specific issue. I think you should contact
Patricia and see if she can help you. I will look at the few
NewsCasters I have but I don't believe any of them are the pertinent
issue.

Thank you, Mary Margaret for responding to my query.
I believe the NewsCaster only recently became searchable and it is
terrific
and I am very appreciative!
I am aware that a lot of issues are posted on the CAOA web page are
indexed,
but I think the issue
I am interested in seeing falls in between these two indexes.
I am interested in rereading the article concerning Henry Clay
Caster as he
is a member of my
Custer family of Wayne Co, IN. His father, Samuel Caster/Custer is a
brother of my gr-gr-grandfather,
Solomon F. Custer. Samuel & Solomon are sons of Paul & Mary
(Garver) Custer
of Wayne Co, IN.
I have a copy of all the NewsCasters and am hoping you can be a
little more
specific about when the article
appeared in the newsletter or maybe the title of the article.
Thanks for
any help!

Jo,
I wrote an article about Henry Clay Caster around 2000. There are
several Caster, Custer, Kaster families in Cowley County, KS. Henry
C. Caster is buried in a rural cemetery between Hackney and Dexter,
up on a hill, out in a pasture, south of KS 15.
Patricia now has the NewsCaster in searchable form, and I think a lot
of issues are posted on the CAOA web page.

Does anyone remember the article in the News-Caster concerning
Henry Clay
Caster of either Union Twp,
Mahaska, IA or Hackney, Cowley, KS? It might have been a year or so
ago.
I am interested in
knowing which issue it was in. The title of the article would be
helpful,
also.
Thank you.
