Mary, to William Powe, to keep her mind off Page Stanley, didn't work. It took
ten years, but true love won out. I laughed out loud when I read the following.

William Powe from this date until 27 Feb 1827, to learn to knit, sew, etc.
William Powe agrees to prevent and prohibit any communications between the
said Mary Casteel and Page Stanley and said Stanley's wife during the term
aforesaid. Deed Book A, page 153
