Hill Cemetery. Her son is...
My GG Grandfather Dr. Samuel Eddings Casteel b. Dec. 5, 1813 married Dec.
27, 1849 in Brewersville, AL ...Mary A. Grayson b. Apr. 22, 1825 Merengo
Co. AL
They had 4 sons and 3 daughters..2 died minors
Dr. SE Casteel died in Meridian, MS and buried at Rose Hill Apr. 19, 1885
wife Mary d. May 17, 1917
Their daughter Sarah "Sally" Casteel married Matthew Josephus Brett Nov.
14, 1876, Then Samuel Ryan Willis in 1885
Have I got ANY relations out there????
I'm having a very hard time finding connections for most of my family
branches...*sigh*...much less my Native relations.
My cousin supposedly met our Cherokee relations back in the 1950's when he
went cross country with my Granddad.
I still have our Christmas Cards from our cousin the artist Homer Casteel
of Meridian, MS who later lived in Mexico.
Thanks,
Elizabeth Grayson Brett
