Marge:
I don't know if this issue has come up and I don't know if you particularly
care, but --
Jean Casteel Brown's book, "Casteel Family Research", is not particularly
well written, and is certainly not exhaustive, but it's a great tool for some
randomly obscure things. She was apparently smart enough to know the value
and the limitations of what she was doing. To the best of my knowledge, it's
not available except in a couple of libraries in Oklahoma which don't allow it
to go out into the interlibrary lending system. However, the book is
available on microfilm for rental via the LDS library system. If you've never seen
it, it's got a lot of good information, and it's not at all copyrighted, so
anything within the book is legally reproducible. For a long time, I tried
to find a copy to reproduce for researchers but, with your project, it's no
longer necessary.
