It very well could have. My gr grandfather married several times with out telling the
others of his first marriage- the one I stem from. Have found some cousins but they really
aren't interested in making a relationship since they just found out of his previous
marraige.
Names like, Robert, Allen, Francis, Sammual, Jesse, Charles--all are in the naming
patterns.
I have a block on Robert Castile from Tn. born aprx 1835. I have his line up from there.
But I cannot link him with his past.
Thanks so much,
Colleen

I don't recall the name of the other brother...it was a "famous name" also I
recall and I don't know what happened to him.
I do beleive your relation might have been referring to these three brothers possibly?
When I find the original papers I will send info. to the list.

Subject: [CASTEEL] Has any one heard of this Casteel/Castile history?
I had talked to a "Robert Castile" in Tenn. a few years ago in trying to track
down my Tenn. Casteel/Castiles. He told me a story I had not heard.
He said there were three Castile/Casteel brothers that came up the Missippi River. They
had a parting of ways for some reason and that is why the family is so scattered. He also
told me his mother had told him they (the Castiles) had a Castle in the English/Irish
area.
My grgrgr grandfather was Robert Castile born aprx. 1835, Tenn. Any idea's?
Thank-you,
Colleen
