Interesting to note that the Casteels married in with Moores and Graysons
later on and moved down from TN&KY>AL>MS>TX. Moores are the witnesses on
this will.
Among the Casteel, Moore and Grayson related lines is Native
American..Creek, Cherokee blood. And McCoy is very common among Cherokee!

Subject: Re: Edmund and Rebecca Casteel (will transcript)
This transcript of the Last Will and Testament of Edmund Casteel III comes
from a book titled "History of the Casteel Family," which I found in the
Family History Library in Salt Lake City. It was researched and assmbled
by Phyllis Casteel Louden of West Virginia in 1996, and later added to and
edited by Mary Jean Johnson Lehman of Ohio. The source of the will is
given as Prince Georges Co Will Book T, No. 1, pages 48-49; Magurder,
"Maryland Wills." Although the narrative about Edmund III says that the
will was dated 7 April 1772, the transcript given says 11 April 1772. The
will was proved 24 March 1773.
