Heart Attack While
Scrubbing Fatal To
Mrs. C. H. RUSSELL, SR.
A heart attack while she was scrubbing the floor in the kitchen of her
home, 211 South Prospect street, was fatal this morning to Mrs. Minnie
CASTEEL RUSSELL, 58 years old, wife of Charles H. RUSSELL, Sr.
Mrs. RUSSELL was on her knees at the time and had become unconscious
before her husband could reach her side. She died within a few
minutes. She had not been in good health for several years, but was
not required to remain in her bed.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs.
W. C. ADAMS of McKeesport, Mrs. Pauline MACDONALD of Pittsburg. Miss
Josephine, at home and three sons, Charles H., of this city and Emmert
and Robert at home. A brother, Taylor M. CASTEEL of Johnstown, also
survives.
Mrs. RUSSELL was a member of the Methodist Protestant Church and also
of the W. W. Pickett Class of the Sunday School of that church.
Funeral service will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home
in Prospect street. Rev. J. H. LAMBERTSON, pastor of the Methodist
Protestant Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Hill Grove
Cemetery.

**I am following up on clues that Minnie CASTEEL RUSSELL (possibly
Harriet), sister to Taylor M. CASTEEL, might be the daughter of
Archibald and Annie CASTEEL of Somerset County, PA. Archibald was the
son of Jesse and Nancy (TEETS) CASTEEL.
If anyone knows of information about these people, please contact me.
