My gr gr grandfather Robert Castile/casteel came from Tn. he was born in
Tn, 1845. I don't have his parents names though. Although the census (from
missouri) show's both his parents were born in Tn. He married an Emiline
who's parents were born in Mo. They had three children Sophi age 11, Robert
Jr. age 9 and Charles age 6. Somewhere down the line Robert Jr. moved to
Mo. either with his family or without.
Robert Jr. married a "Lizzy" Elizabeth Kerberich b. 1874 in Ill. her
father was from Germany, her mother was born in Mo. They had three children
Ella b. Aug 1893, Allen b. July 1896, Irene b. Nov. 1898.
Allen married Adeline Abert from Ill b. 1895, Father from Germany mother
from Mo. They had two children Allen b. 1916 and Adel b. 1918?. He divorced
and remarried two more times. To whom I don't know. He never mentioned his
first marriage to the other two. To this day alot of Castiles in Missouri
don't know about his first marriage a product thru whom I descend. I have
further information bringing my Castiles up to date if anyone is interested.
If anyone has more information please let me know. All of my information
came from searching through death indexes and census's and so on. I have
proof to the line that I descend from :o) and will share with anyone
interested. Thankyou so much-- Colleen colleenlopez(a)yahoo.com

Hello List,
Still looking for a connection to my Casteels. My GGgrandfather was Will
(William)
Casteel. Will had a brother named James. I have been told James
lived in Hopkins Co., KY. at one time. Will was married to Kate (Annis ?).
I know they had atleast 2 children, William (Jr.) b. abt. 1891 and his
sister Daisy Lee b. 1896. William (Jr.) and Daisy are on the 1910
Muhlenburg Co., KY. census with their mom and stepfather Robert McGee.
My Ggrandmother's obit. says she (Daisy) was born in Missouri. I have read
that
Daisy is a nickname for Margaret and vice versa.
I never had the chance to meet Daisy, so I know very little. I've hit
nothing
but brick walls on this line, so any help or suggestions will be
greatly appreciated. TIA
Ramona
