Frankie,
I don't understand part of the line you just posted. You show Reuben Cassity
marrying Leander Cassity. Isn't Leander a man? I show Reuben marrying Hally
Adkins c.1892. I show Leander as a grandson of John William Cassity and
Martha Jane Hall. Was Leander Reuben's son?
Also, the John W. and Martha you are seeking are John William Cassity
(b.1843) and Martha Jane Hall. John was previously married to Adeline Hall,
Martha's sister. Adeline and John had a daughter Frances born in 1869.
Cassie's Frances Dane Cassity was born in 1897 and was the daughter of
another John William Cassity (b.1874) and Martha Susan DeHart.

Linda asked: "Wasn't Leander Cassity a man?"
Linda, the Leander Cassity (1830-1911) who married in 1853 in Morgan Co., KY
to Elizabeth Adams was definitely a man.
The Leander Cassity listed by Mr. Gilliam in the line I posted, asking
questions about, appears to be a female. The dates are definitely different
that the ones for Leander Cassity. I've written Mr. Gilliam about this, but
he says he no longer does genealogy, which left me with lots of questions.
I was intrigued by the possibility of "Leander" being used for a female!
MAYBE he just entered the wrong name in the wrong slot.
Thanks for clarifying the earlier post as to who the Martha was. Do you know
WHERE the family of John Cassity and Martha Dehart lived?
I keep looking at the Cassitys who have some connection to Morgan County,
searching for the elusive parent of Leander Cassity (1830-1911).
Linda, thank you for your help!
