Hi Connie,
I don't know or understand how this could have happened!? You see I AM Rickie Edward
Cassidy and my wife's name is Patti! Not getting smart or anything but I am also a
member of these groups..all the names you mentioned are correct with the exception of
Brenda Swint...If you could would you send me the information you have on my family and I
will campare it to the information I have, and I can possibly fill in the blanks for you.
Thank You,
Rick Cassidy

That is wierd. Why would she e-mail you if she was asking for help?

A very weird thing happened to me.
A Brenda Swint (name on "From") wrote to me on August 17, asking: "My
husband's name is Rickie Edward Cassidy, Sr. His father was Virgil Edward
Cassidy, Sr. His grandfather, who we just found out about, was Jesse
Cassidy. His grandmother was Lacy Mae Pruitt Cassidy Lewis. Do you have
any information on this family?"
I didn't get back to her until Sept. 5, when I wrote saying that I didn't
recognize the names and asked if she had dates or places that would help me
make a connection.
I received a prompt, but brief reply of "No".
Thinking I would help, I searched Ancestry and found some Lewis County,
Kentucky census data that seemed to be this family and sent it to Ms. Swint,
asking if this were the family she was looking for and offering to help her
find more if she needed help.
Her response? To write in bold type, all caps: "Why are you emailing me
about this family? Stop bothering me."
Have any of the rest of you run across this lady?
How does the saying go? "No good deed goes unpunished."
Frankie
