I've been a Cassell researcher for about 12 years now, and most of the
information I have has come to me though the kindness of others. Many
people have corrected me, and helped me, and I am grateful for their work.
Im sure that in my stuff there are errors, I have had to make assumptions,
as we all have, since most of the Cassell family have not been good about
leaving traces. ...I understand the need for the list rules because, in
spite of everything, there are argumentive and hostile people around. None
of them are Cassells-Cassels-Kassels-Castles-or even Cassils- but they lurk
everywhere. I thoroughly agree with the lady who said that "making
statements like ..you're wrong, etc..are not appropriate, saying instead
..here is the info which I have which appears different than yours." Thats
a very gentle way to discuss differences...and the science of genealogy is
based on exchanging information in which there are always differences,
after all.....Al Cassell hcviii(a)ott.net..
