I dont think I have ever posted to this mailing list, although I have been
a quiet lurker for some time. I thought I would put up my Cassil/Cassell
list to see what happens:
John Cassels b abt 1700 Fife, Scotland, d after 1752 in Scotland, he
married Isabella Hill
John Cassels b abt 1724 Fife, Scotland d aft 1771 in Scotland, he
married Rachel Alexander
John Cassels b 8-24, 1752 Fife, Scotland maried Jean Laing
James Cassels b 5-31-1795 Fife, Scotland m Janet Laing
James A. Cassell b 1-27-1822, Dunkirk, Fifeshire, Scotland d
3-19-1882 Ill, married Isobel
Maxwall or Maxwell
James Jay Cassell b 8-25-1859 Morrison, Ill d 8-01-1923
Edgar, NE married Vinnie Elmira
Palmer
Clayton Archie Cassell b 7-23-1905 Guide Rock, NE d:
may 24 1954 Baker Oregon
married Mildred Choate
My other question to the list is that I am trying also to trace a rare
genetic disease through my family. I have it and at least one of my
children have it. We believe I got it from my mother and she from her
father, who is Clayton Archie Cassell listed above. Since he is no longer
living we cannot test him to see. My question is has anyone ran across any
mention of porphyria or any mention of strange illness in any Cassell
family members? symptoms range from tachicardia, hypertension, red or
purple urine, blistering in the sun, photosensativity, and unexplained
stomach pain. It is very rarely diagnosed in this country, and often as a
variety of other things, from gastritis to Fibromyalgia. It is drug
sensative and I personally react to most drugs weather on the unsafe list
or not.
Thanks
