Hello Kuzinz,
Whew!!!!!!
The odometer on Christine, our trusty sunset-red Escort, reads 4128 miles.
We went across the Florida panhandle, transversed Louisiana, Missippi and
Arkansas, into Texas and Oklahoma. Next, we went into Missouri, then across
Illinois, Indiana and into Ohio. Turning South, we went through Kentucky,
Tennessee, Georgia and back to Saint Petersburg, Florida.
We visited five different libraries, several cemeterys, and two
courthouses. We met many, many cousins with whom we had little or no
previous contact and made inroads into several of our ancestral branches.
It was a wonderful and wonderfully tiring trip.
Needles to say, Budweiser and Beau were very happy to see us. They are now
resting at the foot of our desk where Holly and I are catching up on our
mail, etc.
I will send information to you as it is collated and organized that we
collected.
Thanks to all who held down the forts for us while we were gone; we're
happy to be home.
BTW, did I tell you? WHEW!!!!!!!!
