CASSIDY -- Of Danvers, Aug. 19, 2000, Eleanor C. (Ryan) Cassidy, age 80,
wife of the late Jack Cassidy and mother of Ellen Riboldi, Judith Buchino
and Paul Cassidy. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. in
the Mackey Funeral Home, 22 Conant Street, Danvers followed by a funeral
Mass to be celebrated in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Conant
Street, Danvers at 10 a.m. Visiting hours on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. If
desired, donations may be made in Eleanor's memory to the Maryknoll
Mission, P.O. Box 301, Maryknoll, N.Y. 10545-0301. (8/21)

Eleanor C. (Ryan) Cassidy, 80
DANVERS -- Eleanor C. (Ryan) Cassidy, 80, a resident of Danvers for the
past 50 years, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000. She was the wife of the late
Jack Cassidy.
Born in Salem Oct. 27, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and
Mary (Carrol) Ryan.
She was educated in the Peabody school system and later graduated from
Salem State Teachers' College.
She was employed for 20 years as an elementary school teacher in the
Middleton school system. After retiring, she worked as a tutor.
Mrs. Cassidy was a communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish in
Danvers.
Surviving her are two daughters, Ellen Riboldi of Marshfield and Judith
Buchino and her husband, Dr. Joseph Buchino, of Virginia; a son, Paul
Cassidy of New York; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, John Ryan; and a sister, Margaret Costello.
