Are you on face book? Face book has been a great help as the cassidy clan also have a page
which i joined prior to being a member and I posted up names and got little hints/tips.You
can also search lots of Irish face book pages.Find a page on Donegal and post messages and
names on there I manages to find about 50 family which is not to bad since my grandad left
Ireland in 1926 and never spoke to his family since.
Good luck with it all make sure you have plenty of pencils and paper and some of the names
will prob be repeated several time along your line.My Great Grandad was John Cassidy they
had 7 children each of then also called their firs male john
Cheers
Shane

Hi Larry,
You might check Rootsweb and see whether they have a Donegal list you could join. People
there might have specific helps since you know the parish. Lucky you!
Also, check out
www.CassidyClan.org. There is an article there about some Donegal
Cassidys. I don't know if they are yours, though.
If you post here again, you have to subscribe first. Send an email to
CASSIDY-request(a)rootsweb.com with the word 'subscribe' without the quotes in the
subject and the body of the message.
Good luck,
Janet C
