Has anyone used this software? Is the dealer reputable?Would like your
input if you have used this or similar mapping programs.
http://www.galstar.com/~censusvu/ANIMAP.htm My daughter who works at the BYU
Library, Genealogy section, recently
attended a seminar where the speaker used the Animap along with
censusus. She thought it was great and very helpful in placing and
finding ancestors. You can write to mapping program, such as drawing in
or placing family home, cemetery and such for print outs.
I use two mapping programs--one is by DeLorme Mapping--MAPEXPERT. One
can write to it also and it contains Street Atlas USA.
The other one is a small but very useful map that will plot your land
records using mete and bounds, and then print out the plat for you.
Very easy and not expensive.($25.00) It is called BLACK OAK MAPPER by
Russell P. Holsclaw. He is son of well known genealogy speaker and
researcher in Greeley, CO. Russell Holsclaw lives in Longmont, CO.
