That's very interesting Simon. Thanks for passing it along. I haven't
heard of her, and would like to buy one of her CDs. I found a photo
and profile (in French) on
http://www.rideau-inc.qc.ca/artiste/fiche/CASSIDYP.htm I
Who knows, maybe we could arrange for her and the Cassidy Brothers to
play in Fermanagh in 2005? I'm actually half serious. For the next
rally, I'd to see if we can host or set up a concert at the arts center
near Enniskillen. It would be a way to make the rally a unique
experience for attendees, build community interest and support for the
clan and hopefully raise money.
By the way, I hope everyone had a great St. Patrick's Day. Sean
O'Caiside turned 96 on March 16th and my wife and I gave Sean and
Noirin a call. I gather that Sean is still recovering from his
illnesses of last year, but had a good day outside enjoying the
sunshine in Dublin last Sunday.
Finally, for the Cassidy Clan executive committee, Janet's email
address is now caiside(a)rcn.com I don't know if we have a working email
address for Nuala.

Just a little update on the international Cassidy music scene.
Last Sunday evening (16 March 2003), I went to a French Canadian
(Qubecoise) singer called Paule-Andre Cassidy, as part of a
month-long
Ville des Mots festival of the French language here in Brussels.
Her specialisation was of course Chanson Francaise but I wondered if
anyone
else has heard of her, especially in North America. She has
certainly
toured in Europe.
Best wishes,
Simon Cassidy (Brussels).
