The Brick Wall seems to be giving way a little for my John C Cassidy, born about 1828 and
died January 1894 in Webster County MO. One Census record indicates he was born in MO,
another in Kentucky.
I was going through some Web Sites that I thought might open up some kind of door. I felt
if I could find John's parents, things would change. Well, I decided to access
Kentucky's Historical Society and they have something in their Kentucky Cemetery
Records Database. In so searching I found what appears to be a family in Fleming County
KY, Garr Pond Cemetery (aka Marthas Mills).
Here's the seeming family, and I present it with the hope it might turn to be a crack
in the wall.
Francis Cassidy, b. 1/22/1798 d. 3/16/1882
Jane Cassidy, wife of F., b. 4/19/1799 d. 7/16/1863
In the same cemetry these children:
Robert E. Cassidy b. 7/31/1830 d. 10/06/1840
Geo. W. Cassidy b. 4/1/1834 d. 10/6/1840
Mary Cassidy d. 5/31/1840 at the age of 2 yrs 9 months.
It would seem that John could easily fit into that time zone. Anyone out there that might
shed some light?
Thanks!
Ron Johnson
