Peter, I know we have discussed your Susan before. Have you talked
with Nuala Cassidy (of the Cassidy Clan) about this family? The
Sandhill Cassidy family is "the eggman."
The other possibility is that whoever recorded the info on the
marriage cert. in australia, thought they were both from
Derrygonnelly, and maybe he was and she wasn't. But it is an
interesting coincidence that there are both Dolans and Cassidys in
Sandhill.

Janet,
I am looking for my grandmother, Susan Cassidy born 1859, according
to her
marriage Certificate, in Derrygonnelly Fermanagh, Daughter of Samuel
Cassidy, a Valuator and Margaret Hutton.
She came to Australia in 1876 and married my grandfather William
Dolan, in
1887 in St. Stephens R.C. Cathedral, Brisbane, Australia. He also
came from
Derrygonnelly. His family we have verified and I have visited
Dolans still
living at Sandhill Townland, Derrygonnelly.
However, I have been unable to find any record of her birth or of her
parents Samuel and Margaret and suspect that she may have put
Derrygonnelly
on her Marriage Cert. out of convenience.
Any help in tracing her and her Cassidy family would be greatly
appreciated.
Regards,
Peter Dolan
