Lawrence Iriving CASSIDY
Lawrence Irving CASSIDY, six years old, son of Mr and Mrs John L. CASSIDY,
died yesterday at the home of his parents, 207 Liberty Ave, heart trouble
being the cause of death. The funeral will be private.

John Lawrence CASSIDY, a resident of New Rochelle for the last fifteen
years, died of a heart attack last night at his home in his fifty-sixth
year. Mr. CASSIDY, a retired reporter, formerly with Bradstreet, was born in
New York, a son of the late John L. and Mary BEAUCHAMP CASSIDY. He is
surveyed by a widow, Mrs. Maude KANE CASSIDY, and four children.

Mrs. Maude KANE CASSIDY, widow of John Lawrence CASSIDY, died Saturday night
at the age of 95 at Sarah Neuman Nursing Home, Mamaroneck. A former resident
of 89 Church St Tarrytown, she had been a patient at the home since March 4,
1971.
Mrs. CASSIDY was born Feb 6 1879 in Brooklyn, daughter of Cornelius
VANSCHELLUYNE KANE and Evelyn TROWBRIDGE DAYTON. Her late husband died in
1933. She was active in the Red Cross, Christ Episcopal Church and the
Daughters of the American Revolution.
Her ggg grandfather was a founder of Old Southeast Church on Route 22 in
Brewster in 1794. It is the oldest church in Putnam County and has been
designated a historical landmark.
Surviving are a son, John Beauchamp Cassidy of Garden City, L.I.; three
daughters, Mrs. Rex Bassett , Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Mrs. Arthur Ransford,
Overland Park,Ks and Mrs. Frank Bonauto of St Petersburg FL. ten
grandchildren, 20 great granchildren and two gg grandchildren.
