While the warm wishes and sentimentality are appreciated (we are Irish,
after all), the e-mail overload is not. I am sure I speak for many when
I say that our mailboxes are stuffed to overflowing. Please, everyone,
use other lists for poems and greetings, and reserve this for
information pertinent to Cassidy geneological research.

Here are some little verses for the day.
Enjoy,
>>>A Little Bit Of Heaven
---------------
>>Sure, a little bit o' Heaven
>>fell from out of the sky one day,
>>And nestled on the ocean in a spot so far away;
>>And the angels found it,
>>sure it looked so sweet and fair.
>>They said suppose we leave it,
>>for it looks so peaceful there!
>>So they sprinkled it with star dust
>>just to make the shamrocks grow;
>>'Tis the only place you'll find them,
>>No matter where you go;
>>Then they dotted it with silver
>>To make its lakes so grand,
>>And when they had it finished
>>Sure they called it IRELAND!
>>
>>*************************
>>Irish Blessing
>>
>>May you always have...
>>Walls for the wind
>>A roof for the rain
>>Tea beside the fire
>>Laughter to cheer you
>>Those you love near you
>>And all your heart might
>>Desire
>>
>>May those who love us, love us.
>>And those who don't love us,
>>May God turn their hearts;
>>And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
>>May He turn their ankles,
>>So we will know them by their limping.
>>
>>
>>
>>May Your Dance Be Spry
>>
>>May your dance be spry
>>And your legs just fly
>>Through the air with care
>>And may you just dare
>>
>>To celebrate with us
>>The wearin' of green, 'cause
>>On St. Paddy's Day aspirish
>>All of us want to be Irish;
>>
>>And be ye not but little
>>In the thinkin' departmental
>>Join us either for a swig
>>Or simply come and dance a jig.
>>
>>May the Saint's be with you...
>>'fore the devil sees your face.
>>
>>AN IRISH WISH
>>
>>May you always have...
>>A sunbeam to warm you,
>>Good luck to charm you,
>>And a sheltering angel
>>So nothing can harm you,
>>Laughter to cheer you,
>>Faithful friends near you,
>>And whenever you pray,
>>Heaven to hear you.
>>
>>May your joys
>>Be deep and many,
>>May your heart
>>be light and glad,
>>May you have the best
>>St. Patrick's Day
>>That you have ever had.
