BTW when they say NY they mean New york coounty which is essentially
Manhattan. Brooklyn is an independent city at this time.
I copied the all of dwelling 48 because my brothyer is doing a study on
the relationship of the Irish and Blacks which is usually defined by the
draft riots but seems more complex and cordial than that when you see them
intermarried and living togather. Also because they whole biulding seems to
be from Virginia and North Carolina and there might be some relations there
that would help someone identiify these families.
