Cassidy Reunion
On Saturday, June 23, 2001 the Cassidy Clan of Chesterfield County, SC and the associated
families, Clantons, Crowleys, Roscoes, Browns, Johnsons, Perdues, Wilkersons, and ALL
others associated will hold their annual gathering at the Chesterfield Community Center,
West Main Street, Chesterfield, SC. The Community Center is air conditioned and well
equipped. The meeting hall will open at 8 AM for registration and fellowship.
There will be one of the longest descendant trees you have ever seen. It will be over 113
feet long. There will be Family History books for the Cassidy, Clanton, Crowley, Perdue,
Roscoe, and Brown lines.
From 10 AM to 11:30 AM there will be a family history symposium. The
symposium will consist of three segments, Research, Cassidy History and Researching the
Cassidy Family and Associated lines.
This gathering promises to be even larger and more encompassing than last year. Last year
there were families from eight southeastern states. Every family member is urged to attend
and to inform others of the gathering.
Please bring a covered dish to be shared. Cups, plates and utensils will be provided. We
will have dinner (lunch to some) at about 1 PM.
You may contact Glenn Perdue for additional information, to offer suggestion, render
assistance or services.
