They had 4 children, Ruth b. 1887 Orpha b. 1889, Charles b. 1891 and Edna b. abt. 1895. William died in 1898, Ruth in 1902(aged 15 yrs), and Jennie in 1915--all three are buried in Riggs Pioneer Cemetery near Rosalia. Charles d. 1974 and Orpha d. 1975 both in Spokane WA. No idea what the cause of death was for William(41 when he died) or for Jennie(52 when she died)--Ruth is said to have died of TB. Anyone knowing how to obtain information obits etc. please help. Jennie was my paternal great-aunt.

Patrick Cassidy and his wife Catherine (Katie) Martin
appear first in the US from ??,Ireland in 1882 in the
record of their eldest daughter Alice in Hartford CT.
Daughter Susanna was born there also in 1885.
In 1886 their son John Pieter was born in NYC; they
lived there (in the E.30's) through the births of
James (1887), Anna (1888), Katie May (1891), in the
1900 and 1920 censi (have not yet found them in 1910).
Patrick was listed as both a "fireman" and an
engineer.
I am continuing to search for the death records for
Patrick and Katie after 1920 (they disappear as
mysteriously as they arrived !!) unsuccessfully so
far.
If any of this sounds familiar or if you would like to
hear or provide more details, let me know.
