I had a friend named Wes Switzer who told me the story of his family from
Germany to Canada.
Apparently, William Penn picked them up in Germany and dropped them off in
Ireland. never getting them to the new world, so the Switzer's became Irish
until they emigrated to Canada in the late 1800's. The Cassells in Illinois
could also be of that kiind of story to tell.

There were (and are) a group of Cassell's living in Whiteside County
Illinois. They are from Scotland rather than England, but I would not be
surprised if they could be related.
The only Cassel's I have in my family are from Germany. They first
settled in Wyoming County, New York.
