A couple years back, a buddy of mine and I got to talking about
genealogy. My friend was interested in tracing his CASS lines so his two
youing sons could know where they came from but had no computer so I
volunteered to do a little hunting for him. I was successful in that I
exchanged a couple emails with a fellow named John Massa from
Hendersonville, Tennessee. John ever so generously sent along his CASS
research so I could send it along to my buddy, who it turns out is a
cousin of John's.
Not long after passing the info my buddy got a computer but due to a
number of things -- including a 3 year old who took the computer apart to
see how it works -- never got a chance to get in touch with John. A
couple weeks ago my buddy, spurred on by his brother, decided it was time
to get back on the genealogy research and asked if I could try to find
John again.
If any of you nice people know John MASSA, could you please pass this
along to him and let him know that the grandsons of Finley CASS and Addie
YOUNG -- Duane and James CASS (sons of James Melborn CASS) -- deeply
appreciate the info he sent along and appologize for the long delay in
sending thanks. With luck they should be online soon and ready to do
some serious genealogy.
Thank you
