Seeking the parents of Hannah C Cass who was born Jan. 27, 1798 at
Otsego, New York. She married Dexter B Day on Jan. 15, 1818 at Ontario,
Wayne Co, NY. They had nine children. Hannah and Dexter migrated to
Canada where eldest son, David Cass Day was born. Then to Genesse area
of NY, then to Geauga County Ohio, then to Green County Wisconsin, where
they were divorced in 1854.
From there, both migrated to Mitchell Co Iowa, where their son,
William
Williams Day and his family resided. Dexter died there in 1863. Hannah
migrated about 1856 to Linn County Kansas, where she died Sept. 22, 1870.
She is buried in the Pleasanton Cemetery, Linn County, Kansas.
