Hi Shelley
As Laura is a relatively common name, please could you give us some more
information about where you live and where you found the photograph. I know
I have a couple of Laura Caspers but both in the early 20th century so
unlikely to be mine. My great grandfather (Ernst Max Reinhold Casper) was
born in Berlin in 1870 and came to London in 1888 but I don't know anything
about his siblings.
Best wishes,
Francesca

I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as Laura CASPER. There is no
photographer or location identified on the photograph, however, it appears
to have been taken sometime in the 1880's inside a home rather than in a
studio. Laura appears to be in her 20's at the time. Hanging on the wall
behind Laura are photographs of a man and woman which are quite ornately
framed.
I am hoping that someone from Laura's family can be located so that this
wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of her family. If you
are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please
contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
