Thanks Lorraine, I will keep an eye out for these names in the future.
I've printed out your email for future reference. Hope to solve the
mystery one day!
All the best

Hi, Sue. my husband's paternal grandmother was Ellen Cason,
d/o George and Emma, of Diss, Norfolk. I believe this line moved up from
Suffolk. I've tried going back a couple of generations to see if yours
tie
in, but can't see a link as yet. George's father was Samuel.
Ellen married Job Fisher and lived most of her life in Albany, WA.
best wishes

Subject: [CASON] Casons- St Austell Cornwall England
Hi I'm new to this list. My g-g-grandfather Jonathon Cason came
to
Australia from Suffolk England in 1836.
My mother has handed down some photos to me which are quite ancient
and
are supposed to be of the Cason family in England. These photos have
printing on the back saying that they were photographed at St Austell
Bullring Cornwall. I have so far been unable to identify the people in
the photos and only know that they are part of the Cason family. I
also
have some that were taken in Melbourne Australia - Cason Family
again
but don't know who they are.
I have added some of these photos onto my website in the hope that
someone may be able to identify them one day.
