I am new to this list and am trying to help a friend who is new to
genealogy. Her Casons were with the Donner Party but went to Oregon
instead of CA. Here is what she gave me:
Great,Great,Great Grandfather's name was Hillary Cason born in Georgia
in 1819. He Married Delilah (don't know last name) from Ohio. My
Grandpa Hillary's father was from North Carolina. Delilah was born in
1828.
My Grandpa Howard Charles Cason (my dad's father) was born in 1892 in
Alameda, Calif. He Married Edith May Kerst >From Sabael, New York
(Hampton Province I think)
Heres hoping that we can find some cousins for Karen that have some
history of this interesting family.
Thanks,
Rose Adams in CA.
