He was born ca. 1545 in Steeple Morden, Cambridgeshire. Do not know wife's name.A son,
Edward b. ca 1584 in Hertford, Hertfordshire, England.Married 1. Jane Boleler, 2 Susan
Oxenbridge.He died 9 Sept 1624 in Furneaux-Pelham, Hertfordshire, England. He belonged to
the Middle Temple--in London this is a bar association. He was a "reader" for
the Middle Temple (sort of like a Sergeant at Arms)I have visited the Middle Temple.e.He
is buried in a crypt in the church in Furneaux-Pelham.There is a plaque, in Latin that
tells of this man. It had fallen off the wall.I have a picture of it. I have visited there
also. The Manor House also in Furneaux-Pelham is now owned by a different family. He had a
brother, John the Grocer of London. This John was a member of the Second Virginia CompanyI
recently found proof of this at the Mary Ball Washington Genealogical Library in
Lancaster, Virginia. The Father of Thomas Cason could have been Richard Cason of Ware. Not
proven. Cason family is an!
ancient one long settled in Thunderly in Essex, England Have the Cason book by Tom Cason
who lived in Batesville, Ark. when it was printed. Tom moved to Spring Hill, La. He may be
deceased at this time. .
I now live in Lancaster County, Virginia and within a few miles is Northumberland County
where the Cason family supposedly landed. Some of my information came from Peter Cason of
Dover, Kent, England and from Shirley Shiver Cason of Pine Bluff, Ar (now deceased). Her
information came from a William R. Cason of Atlanta, Ga.
