Hello: I read your posting then checked the Walton County Census for Doc Cason. Sure
enough he's there as age 10 in 1870. In the household a a Row or Rowe like you said,
and Martha is a wife of Row/Rowe. Hmmm.??? Possibly a second marriage for Martha? Just
wondering....
What is also surprising is that the Row/Rowe household was among the Moon families of
Walton. I know that there were Moon families that were close to the Cason and Swords
families in Walton Co. GA.
You also mentioned that Martha Row/Rowe was buried in Sword
Cemetery. I'm not aware of a SWORD cemetery however there is a McCullers Cemetery in
Walton Co. Sometimes called the Swords McCullers Cemetery.
Perhaps there is a Martha connection to the Swords line???
There were apparently several Swords/Cason marriages in early Georgia.
Does this help you?
ALL of my material is on
Rootsweb.com by the way.
best wishes, Bob Klebs
