Is anybody else working on this line? We have been trying to find the father
of Benjamin Cason (1788) for years, and this Benjamin (1773) seems the most
likely. If the dates are correct, Benjamin 1 would have had to father
Benjamin 2 at the age of 15! However, here goes:
Benjamin Cason b. 1773 probably Virginia, died 12 Jan 1821 Spottsylvania Co.
VA
Married (1) Unknown
Children:
1. Benjamin Cason b. 1788 SC d. 1860's GA
2. Isaac Cason b. 1796 Camden Co. GA d. bet. 22 Jun 1881 & 4 Jul
1881
Spotsylvania Co. VA
Married (2) Anna Holladay m. 20 Jan 1814. She died 16 Aug 1816.
Children:
1. William James Cason b. 17 Nov 1814. Married Rebecca Rawlings
Goodloe (1) and Martha Ann Fain (2).
2. Anna Sophia Elizabeth Cason b. 16 Aug 1816 VA. According to
Isaac's will, she married a Rawlings.
Married (3) Nancy Graves 1818. She was born abt. 1797.
Would love to correspond with anyone working on this line. Benjamin (1788)
shows up in Elbert Co. GA in the 1830 census, Meriwether Co. GA in 1840 &
1850, and Polk Co. GA in 1860. His wife & daughter appear alone in 1870 in
Polk Co. GA.
Thanks a lot,
Nancy Cason, Garland Texas
