Does anyone on the list have any idea who this fellow is, if they had any
other children, etc.
Adam CASNER b July 1772 in NY d Aprul 17, 1858 in Torrey, Yates, NY buried
in City Hill Cemetery near the shores of Lake Oswego with his wife. She was
Hannah ANNABLE b. Aug. 6, 1781 in Dartmouth, MA. According to the census,
he was found in Milo, NY from 1825 through 1840 and I know they also lived
at some time near Geneva, NY. They had three children I know of that only
lived into their early 20s: Lydia 1823, daniel 1825, and John Q. A. 1828. A
book I saw had a little blurb about them that said they were cousins. Her
father was Isaac ANNABLE of Dartmouth born in 1738. I have always heard his
first wife was a CASNER and they married about 1760 but he had remarried by
1762 in Nantucket to Eunice SWAIN so his first wife did not live long. I
have no idea of her given name but they would have married in MA, I would
expect. Audrey Annable Franklin
I have come across a Certificate of Death from Jackson County, OR for William Henry CASNER
(b.4-16-1871 KS d.9-13-1935 Rogue River, Jackson Co., OR). He is a widower. The name of
his wife was Anna Casner.
The name of the person providing the informatoin for the death certificate is Mrs. Charles
Austin of Rogue River, OR (probably a daughter).
Can anyone tie this person in with a particular CASNER family? If so, I would like to hear
from you. I have to believe that he is tied in with my CASNER line (some of them were in
KS at one time) who eventually migrated to OR.
