Hello List:
I have seen very few posts come across on this list. Am I the only
Casner/Carsner researcher floating around in cyberspace?
My oldest ancestor is found in VA in 1801; he moves his family to MO
circa 1818; five of his six children remain in MO, AR, KS. The sixth
child (a son)goes to IA where he dies; this son has 13 sons who scatter
to all the west winds.
In OR circa 1870 there is a split between the 13 sons (reason still
unknown to me) and some of the 13 sons change the spelling of the name
to CARSNER; some retain CASNER.
Would like to hear from any Casner/Carsner researcher. It seems there
are many, many descendants in OR, WA, AZ, CA, NV, NM, UT (as well as the
multitude that are also in MO, KS, AR).
Waiting patiently.
